
Deutsche Telekom has named Abdu Mudesir as its new Group Technology Officer, effective 01 April, management board member Claudia Nemat said on LinkedIn. Mudesir will succeed Alex Choi, who takes over the lead on research, #TLabs leadership and special projects.
Already a senior VP, Mudesir was involved in the implementation of the A4 platform for FTTH connections in Stuttgart, among other things. He has helped lead open RAN development at the group as well as DevOps in Germany. He previously worked over five years at Huawei on 5G and mobile development and before that was a wireless consultant at Altran.
Nemat is the management board member responsible for technology and innovation at the group.
